russian Marine units, which had been preparing to storm Odessa, were destroyed by the Armed Forces near Mykolayiv and Mariupol, reported the Sergey Bratchuk the spokesman of operational staff of the Odessa regional military administration. 

«The Marines, who were to land on the coast of Odessa, were destroyed and are now rotting near Mykolayiv and Mariupol. And the remnants (of those units) will go on to feed the Black Sea bulls. And this is the fate of every invader,” said Bratchuk. 

“The russian ship and the russian Marines went to a well-known address. Glory to Ukraine!” He added. 

On Mar. 21 two russian ships stationed off the coast of Odessa shelled the city destroying several residential buildings and high-rises. No casualties were reported. The Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire in response and driving them away from the shore.
