In Donetsk region, one person was killed and another injured due to hostile shelling in the Maryinka community by the Russians.
This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration.
«In Katerynivka of the Maryinka community, one person lost their life, and another was wounded as a result of shelling. Russians persist in using scorched-earth tactics. Anyone still residing in the frontline areas risks becoming another target for the enemy», – expressed the regional head.
Filashkin highlighted that on the morning of January 4th, Russians launched attacks on Maryinka, Avdiivka, and Kurakhivka communities, causing damage to houses. The exact consequences of the shelling are currently under investigation.
As a reminder, on the night of January 4th, the Russian occupation army targeted Kurakhove in Donetsk Oblast with five S-300 missiles. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.
