In Lviv, a burnt-out piano once played by the UPA commander was recovered from the ruins of the Roman Shukhevych Museum, which was shelled by Russians on January 1.

«Today, our museum workers managed to retrieve the piano that Roman Shukhevych once played from the debris. It was destroyed, burnt out… We will preserve it as a testament to the act of Russian aggression».
As a reminder, on Stepan Bandera’s birthday, Russians targeted and destroyed the museum dedicated to UPA General-Corporal Roman Shukhevych in Bilohirsh, Lviv.
Despite the devastation, a bust of Shukhevych by Mykhailo Chereshnevsky miraculously survived the Russian drone attack that completely obliterated the museum.
The assault resulted in the loss of 16 museum exhibits from the Museum Fund of Ukraine. Fortunately, several hundred museum items had been previously removed at the onset of the full-scale invasion, saving them from destruction.
