Kherson was shelled by the occupants, resulting in injuries

The Dniprovsky district of Kherson was targeted by the Russian military, resulting in three men seeking medical attention.

This was reported by Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson military administration.

«Three men born in 1977, 2000, and 2001 sought medical attention, with a preliminary diagnosis of mine-blast trauma. The victims are currently undergoing further examination», – the statement reported.

Later count of wounded in the shelling has increased to four. A 69-year-old woman was injured, and a fire broke out in a warehouse storing humanitarian aid, as was stated by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

«Russian troops shelled the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, hitting a residential building and causing a fire in a warehouse storing humanitarian aid», – the statement mentioned.

The injured 69-year-old woman refused hospitalization. The Emergency Medical Assistance (EMA) confirmed three other residents of Kherson (aged 22, 23, and 46) admitted to the hospital. Medical examinations and assistance are currently being provided.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office initiated a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings related to the violation of laws and customs of war.

As a reminder, in the past 24 hours on January 4th, the Russian army fired 125 times at the Kherson region, resulting in one fatality.
