Rescue operations in Zmiiv, Kharkiv region, following the morning shelling by Russia on January 8, have been successfully concluded.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
«At approximately 10:30 a.m., the State Emergency Service completed search and rescue operations at the location of an enemy missile impact in the town of Zmiiv, Chuhuiv district. Rescuers recovered the body of a 63-year-old woman from the rubble of a private house. Three hours earlier, two men had been successfully rescued from the debris. The operation involved three units of equipment and 15 personnel», – stated the press service.
As a reminder, due to Russian shelling in the past day in the Kharkiv region, medical and social infrastructure, private residences, and a business were damaged, resulting in fires, with minor among the casualties.
