This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

At 22:30, the Russian army attacked the Kyiv district of Kharkiv, using, according to preliminary data, S-300 missiles.

«One person is in serious condition, another was wounded and is in moderate condition, while the rest are in a stable condition. Among the injured are journalists from a Turkish media who were staying at the hotel. The response is ongoing, and rescuers continue to extinguish the fire», — said Syniehubov.

As a result of the hostile shelling in the center of Kharkiv, 11 people were injured, including four men aged 31 to 38 and seven women aged 23 to 71. Nine of the victims were taken to medical institutions.

A 35-year-old man is in serious condition, and eight patients are in average condition; two were treated on the spot.

In addition to the hotel, residential buildings, one municipal and one private, a car dealership, and a manufacturing plant were damaged.

«The people who needed it were relocated elsewhere. Now, the State Emergency Service is dismantling the rubble, and utility companies are already cleaning the street from the aftermath of the ‘hits’», — the mayor added.

According to Kharkiv regional police chief Volodymyr Tymoshko, «the Russians targeted foreign journalists covering events related to Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine».

«As a result of the shelling, the hotel building was partially damaged. A fire broke out at the arrival site. Cars were burning in the parking lot… Investigators opened criminal proceedings over the violation of the laws and customs of war under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine», — the regional police press service quoted him.
