In a relentless assault on Zaporizhzhya region, Russian forces targeted 20 settlements in the past day, causing extensive damage to residential buildings and critical infrastructure. The head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration, Yuriy Malashko, reported that the invaders launched 146 strikes, resulting in 23 reported cases of destruction. Notably, MLRS attacks hit Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, and Kamianske, while drone attacks targeted various locations, including Huliaipole, Robotyno, and Pyatikhatky.
Russian troops launched an attack on Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, utilizing guided aerial bombs, causing damage to a local company. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, reported artillery and mortar strikes on over 15 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, with notable targets including Gatyshche, Pletenivka, and Potikhonovo. Sinegubov emphasized the damages caused during the attacks and the successful repulsion of four enemy attempts near Synkivka in Kupyansk district.
In Stanislav, Kherson region, Russian forces attacked a local fire department with a kamikaze drone, injuring four firefighters. The head of the Kherson Regional Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, stated that the injured individuals suffered contusions, explosive injuries, and traumatic brain injuries but refused hospitalization. Prokudin also provided a recap of the extensive attacks in the region on January 13, including 103 incidents and 406 shells fired.
In the Beryslav district of the Kherson region, Russian occupants conducted shelling on localities, resulting in the injury of a civilian. Volodymyr Litvinov, the head of the Beryslav District Military Administration, highlighted the attacks on Beryslav, Novovorontsov, and Novooleksandrivka. Litvinov reported a 54-year-old man wounded and extensive damages to residential and industrial structures in the targeted towns.
In the morning, the Russian military shelled Dniprovske with artillery, causing injuries and property damage. A private house was damaged, and its 63-year-old owner sustained explosive injuries, a closed head injury, and a shrapnel wound to her leg.
On the night of January 14, Russian troops launched an attack on the Seredyno-Budska community in the Sumy region, firing from a multiple rocket launcher system. The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported five recorded explosions during the assault, highlighting the ongoing threat to various regions.
Just after midnight, Russia fired two missiles at Myrnohrad, destroying multiple private houses, a cafe, a shop, outbuildings, a gas pipeline, and five civilian vehicles. While no casualties were reported, police recorded a total of 17 hits in the residential sector throughout the day, targeting cities like Avdiivka and Kurakhove and villages including New York and Berdychi. The attacks involved rockets, Smerch and Uragan MLRS, and artillery, causing further destruction and injuries to civilians.
