Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief: what was discussed

On January 26, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff to discuss the situation in the most critical areas on the frontline.

Another significant topic of discussion was the issue of artillery shells, as highlighted by the Head of State.

«Avdiivka, Kupyansk, and the southern regions are pivotal areas for our actions. Detailed reports were presented by Chief Commander Zaluzhnyi, along with commanders Syrskyi, Tarnavskyi, Moskalev, Hnatov, and others.

Another focal point is the matter of artillery shells. This includes efforts to secure new contracts, collaborate with partners on the pace of international technical assistance (ITA), and the continual augmentation of our own production. Additionally, the discussion encompassed drones, emphasizing efforts to increase both their volume and range of use», — President Zelenskyy stated.

He received a report on the protection of frontline and border areas, particularly from Russian air threats, and directed the preparation of detailed plans for enhanced air cover over cities, communities, and critical facilities.
