Ukraine is actively exploring diverse ways to secure the essential munitions needed. The global cost of peace is significantly higher if Ukraine doesn’t emerge victorious.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba conveyed this during an interview with BBC Newsnight, emphasizing the commitment to finding solutions.
«There is no situation without a solution. If one source falls short, we pursue alternatives. Regardless of the cost for our partners supporting Ukraine, the price of global peace if Ukraine doesn’t succeed will be far greater», — as quoted by the Foreign Ministry’s press service.
Kuleba acknowledged the EU’s independent decision-making capability as a positive development.
«We also continue collaborative efforts with both factions in the United States to ensure crucial decisions are made», — added the Foreign Minister.
In line with agreements, Ukraine is set to receive precision-guided munitions from the US GLSDB. However, the Pentagon has not specified a definitive timeframe for the weapons transfer.
Additionally, reports indicate the US is negotiating with Greece to provide Ukraine with weapons in exchange for $200 million.
