«At least 15 thousand occupants are currently positioned against us in Avdiivka, the situation extremely difficult» — 3rd assault brigade

At least 15,000 enemy troops are currently confronting the forces of the Third Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along their frontline in Avdiivka.

This was reported by the brigade’s press service.

«Our brigade has successfully inflicted critical damage on the 74th and 114th separate motorized infantry brigades of the occupying forces, essentially neutralizing both enemy units. The estimated actual number of losses stands at 4,200 enemy soldiers, including ‘200s’ and «300s», — stated the brigade.

Despite the significant losses suffered by the occupying forces, the situation in Avdiivka remains extremely challenging, according to the Third Assault Brigade.

The area of the frontline held by the Third Assault Brigade is occupied by various brigades of the Russian occupation army, including the 35th, 55th, and 74th separate motorized rifle brigades from the 41st Combined Arms Army, as well as the 15th, 21st, and 30th separate motorized rifle brigades of the 2nd Combined Arms Army. Notably, the 114th separate motorized rifle brigade, formerly the 11th separate motorized rifle regiment of the so-called ‘DPR,’ is actively engaged in combat against Ukrainian forces.

Certain operations are conducted by GRU personnel, who undertake night assaults utilizing night vision equipment, engage in sabotage, and coordinate air and artillery strikes.
