A family consisting of two children, aged 13 and 15, who were displaced following Russia’s full-scale invasion, has been repatriated to the territory of Kherson region under Ukrainian control.
This announcement was made on March 20th by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
«We have successfully rescued a foster family with two children who were deprived of parental care during the occupation. These boys are aged 13 and 15», — the statement read.
The family is currently receiving care under the supervision of medical professionals and psychologists.
The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration also expressed gratitude to Save Ukraine for their assistance in evacuating the children.
Since the beginning of 2024, Ukraine has successfully repatriated 40 children to government-controlled territory.
