The government plans to allocate an additional UAH 4 billion to strengthen fortifications in five regions

The Cabinet of Ministers is allocating an additional UAH 3.88 billion for the further construction of defense borders.

This was announced Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal on April 12.

Of these funds, UAH 1.7 billion is designated for the Kharkiv region, and UAH 1.5 billion is allocated for fortifications in the Sumy region. Additionally, Donetsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions will also receive supplementary resources. Since the beginning of the year, the government has already allocated nearly UAH 30 billion for the construction and arrangement of fortifications.

Earlier, it was reported that the government had allocated an additional UAH 5.6 billion for the construction of fortifications in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
