16 Russian ships undergo repairs — Pletenchuk

Currently, 16 Russian ships are undergoing repairs, but these are only the ones that are out of order.

This information was reported on Hromadske Radio by Captain (3rd Rank) Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy:

«The Russians have at least 16 ships under repair—these are the ships that have broken down. An even larger number of ships were damaged during the full-scale Russian invasion and have already been repaired and returned to the fleet».

According to him, this figure fluctuates. Some ships are being repaired by the Russians, while others are irretrievably lost.

On the morning of April 21st, Crimean public media reported explosions heard in Sevastopol. At that time, a missile threat was declared in Crimea. The Russian «governor of Sevastopol», Mikhail Razvozhayev, wrote that in the morning, on the northern side of Sevastopol Bay, the Russian military allegedly «repelled an anti-ship missile attack».

A video showing smoke and fire among the ships appeared on social media, filmed in Sevastopol Bay after an explosion was heard in the city. The author of the video said in the voiceover that «the missile fuc*d up the ship».

Later, Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk confirmed the attack on the rescue ship «Kommuna» in Sevastopol.
