US President Joe Biden will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in France this week. Next week, the leaders will meet in Italy.
This was announced by US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
«In Normandy, Biden will have the opportunity to meet with President Zelensky and discuss the situation in Ukraine and how we can deepen our support for Ukraine. In a few days, he will also have the opportunity to meet with President Zelensky again on the sidelines of the Group of Seven summit in Italy», — Sullivan said.
As a reminder, on June 4, US President Joe Biden flew to France, where he intends to take part in commemorative events marking the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy, as well as hold talks with French President Emmanuel Macron.
As a reminder, the United States will be represented at the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland in mid-June by Vice President Kamala Harris.
