He will participate in a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense in the Ramstein format and the NATO-Ukraine Council.
This was reported by a journalist from Hromadske Radio in Brussels.
In addition, a meeting of NATO defense ministers will take place at NATO headquarters on June 13-14. More than 30 defense ministers are expected to attend.
In addition to Rustem Umerov, the meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense in the Ramstein format will be attended by U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Charles Brown.
As a reminder, the 22nd meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, better known as the Ramstein format, took place on May 20.
The inaugural meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council took place on July 12, 2023, at the Vilnius Summit. The meeting of the Council was held at the level of heads of state and government and was attended by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
