On June 12, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down one X-47M2 Kinzhal air defense missile, four X-101/X-555 cruise missiles, and 24 Shahed-131/136 attack drones.
This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At night, Russian troops launched a missile and air strike on Ukraine, using air- and ground-launched missiles, as well as attack UAVs.
A total of 30 air attack weapons were used:
Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.

The air defense system was operating in the Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Vinnytsia regions.
According to the Kyiv city state administration, the Russians fired X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers. These missiles approached Kyiv from the south in several waves.
Almost simultaneously with the missiles, attack UAVs were moving toward the capital from the same southern direction.
In addition, according to preliminary data, the Russian army also fired ballistic missiles at the capital.
The air raid in Kyiv lasted almost 2 hours. Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties or damage in the capital.
In the Kyiv region, a civilian was injured as a result of falling debris during an enemy attack with drones and missiles, and a number of facilities in two districts were damaged, said Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
«Last night the enemy attacked the region with missiles and UAVs. The alert lasted almost two hours. Air defense forces were actively working in the region. No hits to residential or critical infrastructure were recorded. One person was injured as a result of falling debris – a cut leg wound. Medical aid was provided on the spot. The victim refused to be hospitalized», – he said.
At the same time, according to Kravchenko, as of 7:00 a.m., a number of facilities in two districts of the region were damaged by falling debris.
In particular, a fire broke out at an industrial facility in one of the districts. Fire and rescue units from the Kyiv region, the city of Kyiv, and Ukrzaliznytsia are currently involved in the firefighting efforts. In total, more than 105 people and 30 pieces of equipment are involved.
The falling debris also damaged a private house, a gas station, and a garage.
In another area, a warehouse caught fire.
All services are working on the ground to eliminate and record the consequences of the attack. The work is ongoing.
