The new military aid package from Denmark includes additional equipment for F-16 fighters.
This was reported by the Danish Ministry of Defence.
This is the 19th military aid package from Denmark.
The ministry notes that the package provides for the conclusion of a number of agreements with allies on the procurement and provision of equipment for F-16 fighters donated by Denmark, among other things.
The package also includes support for Ukraine’s defence industry.
«Ukraine still needs significant military support due to the ongoing Russian aggression against the country. Thus, with this latest aid package, we are providing as much support as possible to meet Ukraine’s needs on the battlefield here and now», — said Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
This aid package will make it possible to use €160 million for military assistance to Ukraine. It is expected to be launched this summer.

«Yesterday, Denmark announced the expansion of support for Ukrainian arms manufacturers by another DKK 1.2 billion – about $170 million. Denmark was the first country to believe in Ukrainian defence and make the first donation under the ZBROYARI: Manufacturing Freedom project. But Denmark was also the first country to donate for the second time.»
