There are many people in Ukraine willing to help with the production of drones, but the engineering staff needs to be increased.
This was reported on Hromadske Radio by Anatoliy Khrapchynsky, an aviation expert and deputy general director of a company that produces electronic warfare equipment.
According to him, Ukrainian drones can fly up to 3,000 kilometres and carry a load of up to 100 kg.
«There are many people in Ukraine who are willing to help with the production of such equipment, but it should be noted that the engineering staff needs to be increased. I keep saying this when I meet with teachers and students at Ukrainian institutes that we need to create the same recruitment process for engineering specialists.
Ukraine has every chance to become a high-tech country in terms of Mil-Tec, and this will provide quite good job opportunities for future students who choose to become engineers, because there are a lot of tasks that need to be done. There are a lot of developments, and we need both engineers and analysts who can offer good solutions. We still have a lot of goals to achieve. We are doing enough for now, but we need to do more», — says Khrapchynsky.
