Today, on July 16, a delegation of Ukrainian officials led by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal arrived in Prague for the second joint meeting of the governments of the Czech Republic and Ukraine.
This was reported by the Czech government.
Prime Ministers Petr Fiala and Denys Shmyhal will discuss the current situation in Ukraine, defense cooperation, migration, energy cooperation, support for Czech exports, and the involvement of Czech companies in the restoration of Ukraine. Bilateral meetings of individual agencies will also take place.
Shmyhal stated that a number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed:
«I am grateful for Ukraine’s support and fruitful cooperation. We continue to deepen relations for the sake of a strong, peaceful, and secure Europe.»
The Czech Republic was represented by First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Vit Rakusan, as well as the heads of the ministries of regional development, health, defense, foreign affairs, industry and trade, transport, education, agriculture, science, research, and innovation, among others.
Ukraine was represented by the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, and others.
