The special intelligence unit «Angels» evacuated the family of a Ukrainian Navy officer from the temporarily occupied Crimea. They faced persecution by the FSB.

On 18 September, the entire family—including the officer’s parents, sister, and minor niece—were detained by the occupiers. They were held illegally for several days, subjected to psychological pressure, and threatened with torture.
The occupiers intended to coerce the Ukrainian officer into cooperating. On 20 September, the officer’s family was temporarily released on the condition that the officer contact the FSB within five days. If he failed to comply, his family was threatened with long-term imprisonment.
The officer reported the situation directly to the Commander of the Ukrainian Navy, who then decided to engage the Navy’s special intelligence unit «Angels,» which had previously conducted «more than a dozen successful evacuations.»
The operation was planned in complete secrecy and executed within a short time frame. The Ukrainian Navy command also expressed gratitude to the Anti-Crisis Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for their assistance during the rescue operation.
In a related event, soldiers from the Third Separate Assault Brigade (3rd Separate Air Assault Brigade) in Kharkiv Region carried out a successful assault operation, helping Ukrainian prisoners of war escape.
This was initially reported by the Kreminna tactical group and later confirmed by the 3rd Brigade.
Four Ukrainian servicemen were ambushed by Russian forces while moving between positions along the contact line. The enemy sabotage group consisted of 10 men.
Caught off guard, the soldiers attached to the brigade were unable to mount effective resistance, allowing the enemy to capture them and lead them toward Russian positions, using the cover of a forest belt.
«The prisoners told us that the enemy command had ordered the captors to kill them, but for some reason, the captors refused», — said the commander of the 1st company of the 2nd assault battalion of the 3rd Brigade, call sign «Mosya.»
The commander of one of the brigade’s battalions ordered a rapid response team to destroy the Russian sabotage group and rescue the prisoners. Assault troops in armored vehicles intercepted the Russians, who were holding the Ukrainian prisoners, just as they neared their positions.
A firefight ensued, forcing the Russians to abandon the captured Ukrainians. The enemy sabotage group was destroyed, and the positions previously occupied by the Russians were retaken. Within a day, the rescued Ukrainian soldiers returned to their own lines and are now safe and receiving medical care.
