Ukrainian military strikes Russian oil terminal in temporarily occupied Crimea

On the night of October 7, the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck a Russian offshore oil terminal located in Feodosia, Crimea.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

«A fire was detected near the facility. The consequences of the damage are being clarified,» the statement said.

It was noted that the Feodosia terminal is the largest on the peninsula for the transshipment of oil products. These products were specifically used to meet the needs of the Russian occupation army.

The task was carried out by units of the Missile Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

The General Staff emphasized that efforts to undermine Russia’s military and economic potential are ongoing.

Other «Trophies»

On October 6, units of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine destroyed a Russian «Wasp» anti-aircraft missile system. It is valued at $10 million. The cost of the FPV drone used by the scouts to destroy the Wasp was only several hundred dollars.

On October 5 the Ukrainian Defence Forces had shot down a Russian Su aircraft near Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Region (model to be specified). This was confirmed by Serhiy Horbunov, the head of the Kostiantynivka City Military Administration.

On October 4, a car carrying a war criminal exploded in the temporarily occupied city of Enerhodar. The target was Andriy Korotkyi, the so-called «head of physical security» at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).

Andriy Korotkyi is a collaborator involved in the organisation and execution of war crimes and the repression of Ukrainians under occupation. The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine noted that after the seizure of the ZNPP, he voluntarily cooperated with the Russian invaders. He provided the enemies with lists of station employees, including their personal data, and identified citizens with pro-Ukrainian positions.

In addition, Korotkyi took part in the repression of the nuclear power plant staff and committed war crimes against civilians in temporarily occupied Enerhodar.

He also regularly organised events in support of the Russian occupation army. As a member of Putin’s United Russia party, he headed the so-called «council of deputies» in Enerhodar.

On the night of October 4, the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck the occupiers’ fuel base near the village of Anna in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation.

Russian air defence systems were operating near the base, but they failed to prevent the strike on at least one of the vertical tanks, which caught fire. This task was carried out by the SBU military in cooperation with other units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
