Last night, units of the Defence Forces struck the 67th Russian arsenal in the Bryansk region.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was noted that the warehouse was destroyed through cooperation between the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s unmanned systems and other units of the Defence Forces.
According to available information, the warehouse contained ammunition for rocket and artillery systems, including supplies from North Korea, as well as guided aerial bombs. Much of the stockpile was stored in the open air.
Explosions were reported at the ammunition depots, and local authorities have since blocked the road near the arsenal. The results of the combat operation are still being clarified.
«The destruction of such arsenals creates significant logistical problems for the Russian army, greatly reducing the offensive potential of the occupiers in threatened areas.»
As a reminder, yesterday, October 8, marked the anniversary of the first explosion on the Crimean Bridge. At 6 a.m., an explosion occurred on the motorway side of the bridge. It was later revealed that a truck had exploded while in motion.
To secure the Crimean Bridge, Russia primarily relies on air defense systems. The concentration of such weapons is quite dense in that area. Currently, the occupiers are unable to defend the bridge from the water, so they have assigned this task to aviation, particularly helicopters.
