In general, according to the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO), militants opened fire 15 times on the Ukrainian positions during the day. Besides, they attempted to assault close to the village of Mayorske near 1 pm. When the enemy approached 150-100 meters – Ukrainian troops opened the counter fire with small arms, the press center informs.

“At the same time with the atack of militants, another group of Russian-backed separatists started shelling on Ukrainian positions. After an adequate rebuff, militants lay down and tried to get out of combat. At 2.40 pm they were trying to get around our position, but came under fire and incured losses and rested. At 3.50 pm terrorists opened fire with mortars and under the cover of fire, taking the dead and wounded, retreated. “
