People’s sexuality at war. What are the risks and consequences of prostitution in the combat zone?

What are the ways of sublimation of sexual potential? Vadym Shevchenko, a military psychologist and sexologist, is in the studio. Volodymyr Deryvedmid, a veteran of two wars and an officer, shared his ideas over the phone and also told stories from his own experience. Svitlana Hayduk, a consultant of the International Health Alliance, founder of the Donetsk Charity Foundation Oberih (Talisman) emphacized important moments concerning protecting one’s health and safe sex.
The conversation with the experts was about people’s sexuality at time of war and about ways of sublimation of sexual potential, as well as about what is necessary to know about protecting your health. Examples from other countries which underwent military conflicts were quoted.
The issues of prostitution in the combat zone were discussed. Advice was heard from the military on how to cope with sexual needs.
