This was discussed with psychologist Roman Melnychenko and well-known Ukrainian artist Vlada Ralko.
So, psychologist Roman Melnychenko explains what is aggression, where does it emanate from, whether this emotion is negative, and how it is different from ire.
Vlada Ralko is not just a well-known artist but also an active participant in the EuroMaidan events. She told how she managed to use emotions which she experienced as a witness to the Revolution of Dignity, in art.
Also, artist Vlada Ralko answers the question whether there is an art that, on the contrary, pushes a person to aggression.
According to psychologist Roman Melnychenko, there are ATO fighters who undergo psycho-social adaptation; in particular, they paint or engage in other kinds of art. “We always instinctively use art in order to discharge certain emotions; when we experience tension we go for a walk, we may sing, we may watch a film which would relieve us,” the psychologist says.
