Russians attack Dnipropetrovsk region: one dead, five children among the injured

Russian occupants have targeted the Dnipro region, resulting in a fatality in the Kryvyi Rih district and 24 injuries in Novomoskovsk, including five children.

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovs’k Regional Military Administration, Sergey Lysak.

«Novomoskovsk has suffered extensive damage. A fire, now contained, erupted, and a passing minibus was overturned by the blast wave. Three administrative buildings, two petrol stations, a five-storey building, and a car sustained damage. In the town, 24 people were injured, including five children: two boys aged 4 and 8, and three girls aged 11, 16, and 17. All are currently in the hospital in moderate condition», – he stated

The enemy also targeted Kryvyi Rih, resulting in damage to a shopping center and over two dozen private houses. A 58-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds but is in satisfactory condition.

The Lozuvata community in Kryvyi Rih district was also impacted, leading to the death of a 62-year-old woman and the destruction of a private house. Further details are currently under clarification.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported that a minibus in Novomoskovsk was overturned by a blast wave.

«Eight passengers managed to exit the vehicle on their own. A total of 20 people, including 4 children, sought medical attention», – he added.

Additionally, according to the Joint Forces Operation (JFO), three administrative buildings, two petrol stations, a five-storey building, and a car were damaged.

As a reminder, Russian occupiers conducted another air attack on Ukraine on the night of January 8 and in the morning, utilizing attack drones and missiles.
