She told about aggressiveness as a stereotype to which Ukrainan and foreign journalists often resort when telling about war veterans.
Olexandr Matyash, an ATO veteran, told how he organized production of men’s underwear after he had returned from the frontline. His brothers-in-arms support his new business. Olexandr believes that aggressiveness is a means of defense or of attracting attention, and sometimes it helps overcome difficulties in life. Olexandr thinks that in order to channel aggression into a constructive direction one has to go in for sports or open one’s own business. According to him, support for peer-to-peer trainings helps ATO veterans in Ukraine adapt to peaceful life.
