In particular, Andiy Kulykov, chairman of Hromadske Radio, reported about new programs that come in early November for residents of Donetsk and Lugansk regions and IDPs.
Deputy Chairman, Olexander Buzyuk, told that from 16th of November Hromadske Radio will broadcast in the following towns in Donetsk Oblast – Volnovakha – 66.05 MHz and 103.8 MHz, Kramatorsk – 103.2 MHz , Krasnoarmiisk – 99.6 MHz. By the end of November, Hromadske radio will be broadcasted in the Luhansk region.
Kyrylo Loukerenko, Editor-in-Chief of NGO Hromadske Radio, told that radio will produce informational, analytical and other programs in Ukrainian and Russian. Hromadske Radio is interested in improving feedback from the local audience.
During the meeting, Pavlo Zhebrivskyi reported, that Donetsk administration is ready to promote broadcasting of Hromadske Radio without interfering in the editorial policy of media. He expressed his confidence that in the coverage of events in Donbass leading role belongs to objectivity. Mr. Zhebrivskyi also stressed the importance of informing people in Ukrainian language.
After the winning in the summer of 2015 in the competition of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, Hromadske Radio has been able to speak on five frequencies in the Donetsk, Lugansk and Kyiv regions. Another five radio frequencies in Donbas are received for temporary use during the armed conflict in the region.
