How fighters can return to peaceful life after war? ATO veterans share their experience
How fighters can return to peaceful life after war is told by psychologist Hanna Stativka. ATO veterans share their experience: Oleksandr Martynenko (in the studio) and Srhiy Zhuk (over the phone). Oleksandr went through rehabilitation and, together with specialists from the Crisis Center for psychological help makes videos for support to soldiers. Serhiy told that after rehabilitation he decided to continue to serve the country and made it to the ranks of reformed police in his native city.
Hanna Stativka noted that state bodies of psychological rehabilitation do not work efficiently. This is why volunteer projects using grant money are being created for vetrerans’ rehabilitation. One of them is «Peer to peer», where demobilized military train instructors within their own milieu and can work with one another.
