Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia will agree to export Ukrainian grain.
This was stated by Putin in an interview with the program «Moscow. Kremlin. Putin».
The Russian President continues to say that Moscow does not hinder the export of Ukrainian grain and that Ukraine must demine its approaches to the port.
«Let them demine, and let the ships with the grain leave the port. We guarantee their peaceful passage into international waters without any problems. We are ready to do that, we will not use the demining situation to carry out any attacks from the sea,» Putin said.
Putin also said about the possibility of exporting grain through the ports of the temporarily occupied cities in Azov – Berdyansk, Mariupol – are under his control.
«We are ready to ensure the smooth export, in particular, of Ukrainian grain through these ports. We are already finishing demining work. We will create the necessary logistics, «Putin said.
However, it is known that the occupiers are threatening merchant ships with shooting near the Ukrainian shores.
According to the president of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, because of blockade by Russia of the Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea and capture of the Ukrainian part of coast of the Sea of Azov, Ukraine can’t send for export 22 million tons of grain which are already in warehouses.
In Mariupol, the occupiers are extending the school year to de-Ukrainize the surviving children
