The number of fatalities and injuries from the January 2 rocket attack in Kharkiv increases

The number of fatalities and injuries in Kharkiv resulting from a Russian rocket attack on January 2 has increased.

This was reported by the regional prosecutor’s office.

An 84-year-old woman, one of the wounded, succumbed to her injuries in the hospital, raising the death toll in the city to two.

Additionally, a 23-year-old girl sought medical treatment for an acute injury (contusion). The total number of wounded and injured individuals now stands at 63.

As a reminder, on the morning of January 2nd, occupiers launched a missile attack on Kharkiv. Multiple impacts were recorded in the city center and residential areas. The attack resulted in damage to apartment blocks, outbuildings, and other civilian infrastructure, with several cars catching fire.
