More than 15 settlements in the Kharkiv region have been targeted by artillery and mortar attacks from the enemy forces.
This was reported by Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
The impacted settlements include Udy in Bohodukhiv district, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha in Chuhuiv district, Potikhonove, Sinkivka, Tabaivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in Kupyansk district.
Over the last day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled six enemy attacks near Sinkivka and Petropavlivka in Kupyansk district. At 00:05, Vovchansk was shelled by Russians, resulting in damage to a private house, but thankfully, no casualties were reported.
Between 20:00 and 20:50, the enemy launched a rocket attack and shelled Liptsy in the Kharkiv district with artillery and MLRS. There is currently no information on damage or casualties.
Due to the ongoing hostilities in the Kharkiv region, 16,074 subscribers in 65 settlements across Izium, Kupiansk, Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, and Chuhuiv districts lost power. The regional power company is actively working to restore power supply.
In the past day, combined teams of explosive experts have cleared 10.5 hectares of land in the Kharkiv region, destroying 286 explosive devices. The mine clearance efforts are still underway.
