Rescuers in the Khmelnytskyi region worked tirelessly throughout the night to clear the rubble following a massive attack on January 8, despite the freezing cold.

This was reported by Hromadske Radio’s correspondent from Khmelnytskyi, Tetyana Syvokon.

«Despite the frost, with temperatures dropping to -20°C at night, rescuers continued their search. We received information from the man’s family that he had gone to work and was not in touch; his phone was out of range. During that time, they thoroughly checked all individuals working at various private enterprises in the area. Despite efforts with search dogs, they, unfortunately, located the body».

As a reminder, the death toll in Khmelnytskyi has increased due to a rocket attack carried out by Russian occupiers on the morning of January 8.
