What is the current situation in Nikopol, Dnipro region, which is regularly shelled by Russian occupation forces?

This was discussed on Hromadske Radio by correspondent Anna Tseluyko from Nikopol:

«Tonight, as the Russians always do, they shelled the city of Nikopol and the coastal areas of the Marhanets community. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. The consequences are being clarified, but I believe that, fortunately, there was no destruction. Currently, the Russians predominantly use drones for attacks during daylight hours, but at night, they persist with artillery fire. Interestingly, yesterday, they employed a drone equipped with night vision capabilities.

Yesterday, I also spoke with our law enforcement officers, and they emphasize that the occupiers have initiated modernization and improvement of their drones. They are cautioning residents of Nikopol and the Nikopol district, especially children, not to touch any parts that could belong to these drones or their components. These parts may detonate at any second, and even if they don’t explode immediately, there is a certain period after which they can explode«.
