All the Russian missiles heading towards Lviv and the surrounding region this morning were successfully intercepted by the Air Defense Forces.

Yevhen Boyko, Director of the Department of the Administration of the Mayor of Lviv, reported this on Hromadske Radio.

«All the threats we faced in our region this morning— the missiles heading our way—were eliminated by the Air Defense Forces. There were no impacts in the city or the surrounding area. The situation is now calm», — he stated

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi initially reported rockets moving towards the region at 07:44. However, by 08:24, he confirmed that the air alert had been canceled.

As reported earlier, on the morning of January 13, Russian occupants fired missiles at Ukraine. One rocket fell into the yard of a private house in the Kremenchuk district of the Poltava region but did not explode. Heads of the Chernivtsi and Dnipro regions reported damage and explosions in their respective areas.
