Consequences of the morning shelling of Ukraine by the Russian occupiers

Kharkiv Region

In a series of relentless attacks this morning, Russian occupiers targeted the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of Kharkiv, unleashing a barrage of X-22 missiles.

Preliminary reports indicate that 3 people were killed, and 42 others, including 4 children, sustained injuries. Rescuers have successfully extracted 27 individuals from the debris.

A total of 5 fires have been reported, covering an area exceeding 400 square meters. Presently, rescue teams are actively engaged in extinguishing fires, inspecting damaged structures, clearing debris, and conducting search and rescue operations. Psychologists are also providing support at the scene.

Approximately 20 settlements in the Kharkiv region faced enemy artillery and mortar fire. Among the affected locations are Udy (Bohodukhiv district), Okhrimivka, Zemlianky (Chuhuiv district), Khatne, Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Berestove (Kupyansk district). Air strikes were reported near Hraniv and Hryhorivka, Pishchane, Kupyansk district. Tragedy struck Balakliya, resulting in a partially destroyed educational institution and injuries to an elderly man and woman.

At 02:00, the occupiers targeted the village of Vilcha in the Chuhuiv district, causing damage to a private house.

Kherson Region

Under the cover of darkness, occupiers dropped guided bombs on two settlements in the Kherson region, causing a concussion to a man in Beryslav district and damaging a private enterprise’s outbuilding in Milivska community.

The occupation forces have also targeted the central district of Kherson. A 52-year-old man has been injured, sustaining explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusions, and eye injuries. The victim has been transported to a medical facility, where doctors are providing him with the necessary assistance.

Dnipro Region

A woman was killed, and a man sustained injuries in Pavlohrad, Dnipro region, during the Russian attack on the morning of January 23.

Nikopol district faced assaults the night before and during the night, with enemy forces deploying kamikaze drones and artillery. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, but a car wash suffered damage.

Kyiv Region

The Kyiv region successfully repelled another significant enemy attack. According to preliminary information, there were no impacts on residential, civilian, or critical infrastructure.

As of 8:30 a.m., three people have been reported injured due to the fall of Russian missile fragments, and first aid is currently being provided.

In several communities, three multi-storey buildings, private houses, and outbuildings, along with ten cars and a cafe, have sustained damage. Additionally, a fire in a car park near one of the residential complexes is being extinguished.

All emergency services are actively engaged on-site. Further detailed information on the extent of damage and casualties will be provided later. We are diligently working to eliminate the consequences of the attack, and everyone affected will receive the necessary assistance. We appreciate your understanding as we address this situation.

Kyiv

Multiple districts in Kyiv experienced significant damage due to missile attacks. At least 20 people were injured, with 13 hospitalized, including three children.

Several buildings in Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Pecherskyi districts of Kyiv have been damaged, and emergency services are actively responding.

In Svyatoshinsky district, balconies from the 1st to 5th floors of a residential building and four apartments were damaged by falling debris. An unexploded missile warhead was discovered in another building, prompting the evacuation of residents. Additionally, a non-residential two-storey building caught fire in the same district, and cars were ablaze at a separate location.

Solomyansky district experienced a blast wave that shattered windows in an apartment building, leading to fires in several apartments. A two-storey non-residential building in the area was also damaged.

In Pechersk district, a non-residential building caught fire following a direct hit, resulting in one reported victim during the shelling elimination process.

In Darnytsia district, debris fell in various locations, including on the roof of a 9-storey residential building (without ignition) and near a kindergarten territory (also without further combustion).

Emergency services are diligently continuing their work at all locations affected by the falling debris.
