Majority of victims in Kyiv suffer from mine injuries — spokesperson of Kyiv City State Administration

In the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv, rescuers are currently evacuating residents from nearby buildings following the discovery of a missile warhead. The majority of casualties in the capital have sustained mine-blast injuries.

This information was reported on Hromadske Radio by Mykhailo Shamanov, the spokesperson for the Kyiv City Military Administration. As of 09:00, he confirmed the news of one person killed in the morning attack, noting that the woman passed away in an ambulance. A significant number of the wounded, at least 18 individuals, are reported to have mine-blast injuries.

«In the Sviatoshyno district, rescuers identified a portion of a rocket that may still pose a potential threat. Consequently, a decision was made to evacuate several nearby buildings, and a humanitarian headquarters has been established at one of the educational institutions», — mentioned Shamanov.

He further highlighted that enemy missile fragments were documented in four districts, with no information on damage to the capital’s communal and transport infrastructure.
