Last night, Ukrainian air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 11 Shahed attack drones launched by Russians from the south.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

«On the night of January 25, 2024, the enemy launched an attack with 14 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region (Russia) and Cape Chauda (Crimea). Additionally, they fired four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region (Russia) toward Kharkiv, with one originating from the occupied Donetsk region», – the statement read.

It is noted that, as a result of these combat operations, 11 «Shaheds» were successfully destroyed within the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

«Anti-aircraft missile units and mobile firing groups from both the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were engaged in repelling the air attack», – the military added.
