The Coordination Centre provides details on prisoner exchange (PHOTOS)

As a result of the 50th prisoner exchange, Ukraine successfully repatriated 207 defenders. Among the released servicemen, 27 are officers, and 36 are reported as injured or ill, according to the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

The rescued servicemen encompass various branches, including 95 representatives from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 56 National Guardsmen, 26 border guards, 29 soldiers from the Territorial Defence, and one member of the National Police of Ukraine, as disclosed by the Coordination Headquarters.

«180 returning defenders are privates and non-commissioned officers, with an additional 27 being Ukrainian officers. At least 36 of them are reported as injured or seriously ill. Among the repatriated servicemen are defenders from Mariupol, Kherson, Zmeinyi Island fighters, marines, and combat medics.

This marks the second significant exchange of prisoners after an extended hiatus. On January 3rd, 230 Ukrainians (225 men and 5 women) were released from captivity in the largest prisoner exchange during the full-scale invasion, with the occupiers surrendering 248 of their men.
