Russian occupants are establishing a new military base in the Prymorsky district of the captured Mariupol, and the Russian military is being relocated to dormitories alongside civilians.

This was reported by Petro Andriushchenko, advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.

«The occupiers persist in militarizing the Primorsky district of Mariupol. Two existing military bases, including one for riot police, are being supplemented by a new base, possibly for fortification, in the area of the former Prymorsky district police station», – he stated.

Furthermore, the military is being housed in dormitories either adjacent to or integrated with civilian residences.

«All of this reinforces the suspicion of the «clearing» of the territory surrounding Azovmash and Ilyich plants for new Russian units», – added Andriushchenko.
