In Crimea, partisans carried out a thorough reconnaissance operation at the Saki airfield
Ukrainian guerrillas have conducted an extensive reconnaissance mission at the Saki airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea, as reported by the guerrilla movement ATESH.
In their statement, ATESH revealed that their agents have been actively gathering intelligence on the strategic airfield in Novofedorivka, commonly known as the Saki airfield. Highlighting its strategic importance, the statement emphasized that it serves as a primary location for take-offs of Russian fighter jets involved in attacks on Ukraine.
During the reconnaissance, approximately 10 Su-30 fighters were observed, underscoring the airfield’s significance for air operations. Additionally, the presence of air defence systems and Kasta-2E2 type radars indicated a high level of protection.
The guerrillas stated that the information collected has been relayed to the Ukrainian Defence Forces. They are eagerly awaiting positive developments based on the shared intelligence.
