Beryslav district stands out as one of the most heavily attacked areas in the Kherson region, facing assaults with various types of weapons.

This information was conveyed by Mykhailo Batrak, a correspondent from Kherson, during an interview on Hromadske Radio.

«Beryslav district, situated on the right bank, is consistently targeted and subjected to attacks employing a range of weapons, including artillery, drones, and bombs».

According to Batrak, Beryslav remains under constant attack, resulting in significant destruction and a decline in the local population. Occupying forces frequently deploy drones to release explosives, posing a threat to local residents, volunteers, ambulances, and civilians.

Despite the ongoing assault, there is currently no widespread exodus from Kherson as most people had already left the city and the region earlier. Those who remain endure the shelling, with many relocating to different parts of the city after their homes are destroyed.

While there is ongoing evacuation, with some people leaving and others arriving, it is not characterized by intensity at the moment. According to the OVA, 30% of the city’s population currently resides within Kherson,» Batrak reported.
