Russian President Vladimir Putin has underscored his long-term plans to integrate the occupied territories of Ukraine into Russia over the next six years.

This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War.

The statement reveals Putin’s aim to bring these territories on par with Russia in unspecified «key areas» by 2030. The report suggests that Russia is initiating long-term strategies without entertaining territorial concessions.

Furthermore, Putin urged Russian banks to disregard Western sanctions, encouraging increased activity in the occupied territories. He acknowledged the establishment of patronage networks between Russian subjects and the occupied regions of Ukraine.
