Russians attacked Kharkiv with two missiles manufactured in the DPRK (PHOTOS)
Russian troops utilized two North Korean missiles to target Kharkiv on February 7, according to the head of the Investigation Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region, Serhii Bolvinov.
«Two out of the five missiles fired at Kharkiv in the morning were of North Korean origin. Metal fragments from the ballistic missiles were collected by explosives experts in the industrial zone. Preliminary conclusions suggest these are North Korean HVASON 11GA (KN-23) missiles», — Bolvinov reported
The head of the investigation shared that the missiles struck facilities engaged in concrete and roofing production, among others. Five impacts were closely clustered, resulting in significant damage and complete destruction of some structures. Casualties included a woman, a security guard, and the general director of the affected enterprises.
Investigations, led by both investigators and forensic experts, are ongoing at the strike sites. The attacks, orchestrated by the Russians from the Belgorod region, prompted meticulous collection of missile remnants and small warheads using magnets, as stated by the law enforcement officer.
The White House had previously disclosed the use of North Korean missiles by Russia in early January.
On the morning of February 7, Russian forces targeted an industrial area in Kharkiv’s Sloboda district, resulting in three injuries treated on-site.
