The guerrilla forces have identified Russian ships in Novorossiysk believed to be responsible for the shelling of Ukraine, particularly during the attack on February 7.
The Atesh guerrilla movement reported the sighting. stating:
«Agents of our movement report the deployment of several missile ships in the port of Novorossiysk«.
The identified vessels include a small missile corvette of Project 22800 «Karakurt» and a small missile ship of Project 21631 «Buyan-M». According to the guerrillas, these ships launched Kalibr missiles during the shelling on February 7.
These vessels are reportedly part of the 41st Missile Boat Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, redeployed from Sevastopol to Novorossiysk following successful attacks by the Ukrainian Defence Forces. Despite the redeployment, they continue to be involved in what the Atesh movement describes as criminal attacks on peaceful cities.
