Ukrainian Defence Forces hit invaders' landing ship in the Black Sea (VIDEO)
The Armed Forces of Ukraine, in collaboration with the units of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, successfully thwarted an important landing ship of Russian occupants in the Black Sea.
The vessel in question is the Caesar Kunikov amphibious assault ship.
«At the time of the attack, it was located in the territorial waters of Ukraine near Alupka (temporarily occupied Crimea – ed.)», — stated the General Staff.
Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that on the night of February 14, their air defense systems had allegedly downed nine drones «over the territory of the Russian Federation and in the Black Sea».
The occupiers reported, among other things, that six drones were purportedly shot down over the Black Sea, two more in the Belgorod region, and one in the Voronezh region.
Simultaneously, videos and photos circulated on Telegram channels, showing that «something was burning in the sea» near Alupka-Katsiveli.
Additionally, it was reported that two Mi-8 helicopters were seen circling low over the water in the area.
The Krymskiy Viter Telegram channel reported that drones were responsible for the hit of the large landing ship.
According to Russian occupiers, the entire crew of the VDK is allegedly alive.
