Recently, there has been a surge in the shelling of the Chasiv Yar community, as Russian occupiers relentlessly target the town with various weapons.

Serhii Chaus, the head of the city military administration of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region, reported this on Hromadske Radio.

«The shelling of Chasiv Yar persists, with a noticeable escalation affecting the entire community. Everything is being deployed—artillery, MLRS, and anti-aircraft guns. Evacuations from Chasiv Yar have been underway since the onset of the large-scale invasion. We are continually urging residents to leave because every minute they remain in the city exposes them to danger due to constant attacks. Despite our efforts to inform, explain, and demonstrate the risks, there hasn’t been a recent increase in the number of people willing to evacuate. We’re actively involved in transporting people out of the city ourselves, considering the challenges outsiders face in navigating the roads and understanding the situation. Our destination points are Konstantinovka and Kramatorsk», — said Sergii Chaus.

Earlier on Hromadske Radio, the head of Chasovoyarsk MVA, Sergey Chaus, mentioned that approximately 800 people are still living in Chasovoy Yar.
