Ihnat: Occupants can deploy up to 100 guided aerial bombs daily across the entire frontline
The Russian occupation army is extensively employing guided aerial bombs for attacks. The enemy has the capability to launch up to 100 guided bombs per day along the frontline.
Colonel Yuriy Ihnat, spokesperson for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conveyed this information on Hromadske Radio.
«The enemy is heavily utilizing guided aerial bombs in the eastern direction, deploying up to a hundred of these guided bombs daily. The weight of such a bomb can reach up to 500 kg. Our soldiers and troops along the entire frontline are currently facing relentless attacks with guided aerial bombs. Instead of engaging the bombs directly, our focus is on neutralizing their carriers, specifically the aircraft, including Su-35», — Ignat explained.
To counteract Russian aircraft effectively, long-range air defense systems such as NASAMS and Patriot are crucial.
As a reminder, the losses of Russian troops and their mercenaries in Ukraine total approximately 404,950. On February 19, Ukrainian defenders successfully neutralized at least 1,230 Russian occupiers.
