On the night of February 20, the Russian army launched an attack using 23 Shahed attack drones.
The Ukrainian Air Force Command reported that all Shaheds were successfully shot down by the defense forces.
The Ukrainian Defence Forces used anti-aircraft missile units, mobile firing groups, and electronic warfare equipment to repel the air attack. The interception occurred within the regions of Kharkiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv, where all 23 Shaheds were destroyed.
Additionally, during the same night, Russian occupiers targeted Ukraine with two S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles and an X-31 guided missile.
As a reminder, the losses of Russian troops and their mercenaries in Ukraine total approximately 404,950. On February 19, Ukrainian defenders successfully neutralized at least 1,230 Russian occupants.
