The Ukrainian Armed Forces have successfully driven out occupants from the outskirts of Orlivka in the Donetsk region

The soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade and the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade successfully repelled the enemy that had penetrated the outskirts of Orlivka in the Donetsk region.

This was reported by Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

«Enemy forces persist in active offensive actions across various frontline areas. The situation is particularly intense in the Avdiivka and Zaporizhzhya sectors, where Russian assault units are attempting to breach our defenses and capture Tonenke, Orlivka, Semenivka, Berdychi, and Krasnohorivka. Fierce fighting continues in the Verbove and Robotyne regions, where the enemy is striving to regain control», — stated Syrysky.

According to Syrskyi, «during operations, some commanders identified certain miscalculations in their situational awareness and enemy assessments, directly impacting the defense stability in specific areas».

«Therefore, we have taken comprehensive measures to rectify the situation on the ground, allocating additional resources of ammunition and materials, along with the necessary reserves».
